Sanctuary Manager October 2007 to June 2012
Managed and maintained approximately 289 acres of Texas Blackland Prairie, Wetland and rare Bottomland Forest Ecosystems. Responsibilities included assessment and implementation of prairie restoration and forest best management practices to include removal of nonnative invasive species and seeding of Texas native plants for increased wildlife habitat. Organized and coordinated with local officials of prescribed burns and selected herbicide utilized in managing the wildlife sanctuary. Managed, scheduled, and supervised Eagle Scout programs to assist in project based Eagle Scout projects. Coordinated and worked with large groups of volunteers through corporate employee volunteer days. Other volunteers included scheduling and working directly with community service personnel.
Other responsibilities included maintaining and repairing various visitor trail systems, maintaining net lanes and specified paths to assist bird banding and nest box programs during seasonal migration.

A high skill level of photo manipulation digitally enhanced colored elevations and floor covering plans using Photoshop.
